Sick imagination of Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze again has led to innuendos. These insinuations, outlined by the Prime Minister at the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly, have nothing to do with the reality and are aimed to convince the international community in improving relations with the Ossetians. Concern about reduce of the South Ossetian population which allegedly happened because of “the grave humanitarian, socioeconomic, and human rights situation” was equally cynical.

The resolution titled “Occupied Territories of Georgia – 10 years after the Russian Invasion”, in which the European Parliament supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia and calls for Russia to revoke its decision on the recognition of the independence of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, was adopted at the session of the European Parliament on June 14, 2018.

Now the concept of peaceful reconciliation titled “State Strategy on Occupied Territories: Engagement Through Cooperation” and number of so-called peaceful humanitarian initiatives, which are loudly advertised in the world by the official Tbilisi, are on the agenda.
