Within the framework of the visit of Dmitriy Medoev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, to Italy, a meeting of the Minister with Alberto Drudi, the Chair of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pesaro -Urbino, the Head of Italian-Russian sector of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, took place on October 16, 2017.

During the meeting Minister Medoev expressed gratitude for the invitation and opportunity to get acquainted with the commercial and economic possibilities of the region. The Minister marked that South Ossetia was ready for cooperation in many different areas and would be glad to welcome Italian businessmen in the Republic.

Dmitriy Medoev, the South Ossetian Foreign Minister, is on a working visit to Italy these days.

Exhibition entitled Colors of the Caucasus was opened in the Gallery of Modern Art in Alexander Museum Palace, Pesaro on October 14, 2017. Paintings by Magrez Kelekhsaev, Lavrentiy Kasoev. Akhsar Esenov, Georgiy Gabaraev, Oleg Basiev, Vadim Pukhaev, Vadim Kadzhaev, Viktor Tsallagov, Fatima Tomaeva-Gabellini, Valeriy Ataev were exhibited at the exposition. The exhibition was organized in framework of the cultural project “The Days of Ossetia in Europe” by the European Association of the Ossetian Communities “Renaissance” and the representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia in Italy.
